On Christmas Eve we had chili & oyster stew at Grandma and Grandpa's. I passed on the oyster stew. My holiday dress was so pretty!

But in her defense she has been back in Iowa seeing my Great Uncle Nick and his family and Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Turner.

My FIRST Birthday!!!

My Mommie & Daddy hosted a birthday party for "yours truly" on Sunday. We had a lot of people at our house and it was pretty crowded too! Lucky for us, the weather was nice and people could be outside too. I had such a good time, playing with all of the other little children that came. Mommie helped me open my presents because I just wasn't sure what to do with the wrapping paper. We had good food, Daddy grilled the hamburgers and hotdogs and both my Grandma's brought food too. Boggy Bayou Mullett Festival!

Last weekend I attended my first Mullett Festival. For those of you who don't know what that is, Mullett is a local fish that everyone says it terrific. I was able to ride my first pony and see a turkey up close and personal! What a great time I had.

My Mommie decided to get creative this past weekend so she took one of my onesies and tye dyed it! Even though Woodstock was some 40 years ago we wanted to pay our respects. As a side note my Grandma would have love to have gone to Woodstock but she was to young to go!

My 9.5 month Doctor's appt

Well my doctor was very pleased with me today! I am now 17.7 lbs and 26.5 inches long, which puts me in the 25th percentile. Yes I know, I am petite! They also measured my head and I am must be smart or something because I am in the 75th percentile! Next month, SHOTS, YUCK!!!!

So I get to crawl around Grandma's office during the day and today I bumped my cheek on a shelf! I cried big tears too but my Grandma kissed my boo boo and hugged me and made it all better.

So my Great Aunt Marcia came to visit for the 4th of July. We had a great time swimming in the pool and playing with my toys, you know it is all about ME.

3rd tooth!

My Mommie just notiecd today that I have a 3rd tooth coming in, this time on top! I am so excited too! My Great Grandpa Larry was oh so right, that "chicky" bone really helped to get my teeth to come in fast! Oh I am sooo excited!

So Sunday was Mother's Day!

And it was my Mommy's first one! We all got together and had brunch at the Rocky Bayou Country Club. My Uncle Tim said it was really good!

So it has been a busy 2 weeks!

My Mommie found a 2nd tooth that popped through this week! I now have 2 bottom teeth to chew on "chicky" bones! And my favorite new thing to do is to throw myself backwards so I can see everyone upside down!

Loads of company!

We have had lots of company at my Grandma's recently and here are some of them. The first picture is my Great Grandparent's friends, Margaret & Joe Sampson. Of course Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Turner with my Mommie! I just love them so much!

I found my toes!

One of my favorite things is to lay on the floor and roll around. I am trying to get up on my knees but have not quite figured out how that works just yet. I have found that I love putting my toes in my mouth though!

On Saturday we went to Sky Ranch so my Great Grandpa's friends from Iowa could ride in my Grandpa's airplane. Great Grandma Judy and I were standing outside watching but the wind was to much for me!

My first tooth!!!

I have had a rough week last week and we finally figured why, I was cutting my first tooth! Great Grandpa Turner was here and he suggested that I get a "chicky bone" to chew on. My Mom was a bit skeptical but all of the meat was taken off and I just loved it! At first I could not figure out what I was chewing on but it did not take long to realize the great taste!
